How Is It Earned?

Organizations earn the EU Health Certificate after undergoing a comprehensive VitOScan audit, which includes:

  • Phase 1: A self-evaluation completed by internal experts, representing the actual situation within the organization.
  • Phase 2: An external review of policy documents by an independent expert using predefined criteria, which reflects the agreed policies and standards.
  • Phase 3: Interviews with key stakeholders to validate the results from the previous phases, ensuring alignment between policy and practice.

The audit covers four main themes:

  1. Human Resource Management
  2. Risk Management
  3. Occupational Health and Prevention
  4. Vitality Management

Each theme is scored, and the final score determines whether an organization earns bronze, silver, or gold certification.
